Neocell

I love finding good quality products that actually work.  It is so hard these days with so much out there to really know what is good and what isn’t.  I have made it my mission to find the best of the best and share that with everyone in my life.  A recent company that I had the pleasure of trying is Neocell.  Neocell is all things collagen.  I got the cutest box delivered to my door with all sorts of goodies.  They sent collagen powder, collagen cookie bars, collagen chews and some supplements (also the best water bottle, t-shirt and make up bag).  But besides just the cute package they sent, the stuff inside actually works.

For those of you who may not know or aren’t actually sure what collagen is here is an explanation.  Collagen is a protein.  It is the most abundant protein in the body and it is found in bones, skin, organs, eyes, nails, muscles, hair and teeth.  It is the primary structural component for tissue in the body.  Collagen also aids in regenerating and forming new tissue.  When we get older and our bodies age, collagen supplies decrease. With less collagen, we begin to show signs of aging such as wrinkles, joint pain and tendon injuries. 

Neocell collagen is made to work with our bodies natural regenerative cycles.  They have a few different types of collagen depending on your needs.  I started using the super collagen which helps with skin, hair, nails, ligaments, tendons, muscles and bones.  They also have types specific for joint comfort and also skin elasticity. 

With the super collagen powder, I would add it into my smoothie each morning.  It doesn’t have a taste so my smoothie was just as delicious as always.  What I really started to notice first was how much faster my nails were growing.  I get a gel manicure about every 3 weeks.  I now have to go sooner than 3 weeks because my nails grow out so fast.  My manicurist loves my more frequent visits but my wallet does not.  The next thing I noticed was my hair had grown faster than it usually does.  My highlights grew out way faster and I found I needed to get my hair down more frequently.  Both of these are not the best for saving money but they are fantastic for health.  Seeing that my body was responding to the collagen was so cool. 

What I am hoping to experience next is that I will just never wrinkle (I know wishful thinking on my end).  If I notice such a difference with my nails and hair, then I would have to believe that the collagen is also going to work to protect my joints, tendons and ligaments.  This is wonderful news since I don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. 

Another thing that Neocell sent was collagen cookie bars.  What I love about these bars are they are 12g of protein and only 1g of sugar!  That low of a sugar content is basically unheard of in energy bars.  I am a huge fan and the flavors are cookies, what a win.

There are so many amazing Neocell collagen products that I couldn’t begin to touch on them all.  I am excited to try out as many as I can, especially now since they have made such a good impression on me.  I give Neocell a double thumbs up of approval and so do my hair and nail ladies.
